Village Cottage Patio Design
A Vale of Belvoir village patio design fusing contemporary styling with a traditional ironstone building using smooth sandstone slabs with clay pavers and gabion baskets planted with ‘cloud’ shrubs as architectural features to highlight the whole area in more ways than one… as we subtly integrated fairy lights into the baskets to give an atmospheric ambience as the daylight goes down in the evenings. Subtle uplighting also accentuates the pleached laurel trees which are underplanted with evergreen variegated grasses and Heuchera’s.
This is my own garden and has been an ongoing project for the last 10 years as the garden was nothing more than a field when we bought the property. It is one third of an acre, and it’s been a luxury to take our time in making the right decisions for the garden over the years. Still more to do though!
“This is my own property and has been fantastic to create something for myself and my husband!”
