Jane is fully qualified and has been through tough accreditation processes. She has a distinction in her level 2 BTec Garden Design qualification and is also a Member of the Association of Professional Landscapers, which means she designs to the highest professional standards.

We can come up with unique ideas and provide you with the visual means and confidence to know the design will work, giving you financial investment and confidence to proceed with the build, together with help making crucial decisions and to deal with any issues that may potentially arise.
I don’t claim to have a preferred style, I love all design, but I probably sway towards a fusion of contemporary with period features. I believe that having the ability to design to the needs of the client, rather than what could possibly be in my comfort zone, keeps my design ideas fresh, unique and totally bespoke for the individual client.
Designs are charged according to the size of the garden and the complexity of the project. This starts at £900 for a design presentation plan for a garden up to 100sqm, with a planting plan starting at £300. Project monitoring is charged per hour/visit to site.
You can do as much or as little as you wish! As part of the initial consultation, I will ask lots of questions as part of a questionnaire that enables me to gather as much information as possible. You may wish to manage the project yourself, or you can commission me to monitor the process. At the final stage of planting, again you may wish to take on this yourself or ask me to, or we can work together!
Drawings are created for elements within the design which require detailed specification to enable the contractor to fully understand how the designer would like it built and with what materials. The contractor can therefore quote accurately and there will be no confusion during the build.
For exactly the same reasons that you wouldn’t build an extension to your house without employing an architect. We are experts in our profession and we have to skills and vision to realise your dream garden. We also have detailed knowledge of plants and how they will integrate with the design and the surrounding environment.
