Detached property in Kettering

This client contacted me after a family recommendation. His garden was a traditional space, without character and neglected for some while. My brief was quite open – to give a complete makeover to create a low maintenance garden he could enjoy, nothing more specific.

The plot had some slight level changes, so leant itself to areas of raised beds, which we formed from oak sleepers, enabling us to vary the heights and create interest with ‘soldier’ style upright sleepers cut to different heights for additional interest.

Light grey porcelain paving was used together with a contrasting dark grey plank paving feature and edges of cobble setts. Complementary coloured gravel tied all the elements together and set off the stainless steel water feature.

This was a lovely project to work on and we had, yet another very happy client!
